I forgot!

Okay, so last time I posted, I forgot to write down the quotes from my birthday party! So, here they are:

"Give it to me straight, Dawg!" -Maurice... "As opposed to gay?" -Meche

"I think [Shrimplofter] and [Maurice] look a lot alike. What do you think: his mom and her dad, or her mom and his dad?" -Oregano... "I think it must have been her dad, cuz he's the mail man!" -Jim-Beth

"Think of something not funny... like stinky socks." -Magdalena to Meche

"You got fat toes!" -Magdalena to Shrimplofter

"Get off the crack!" -everyone

"I'm not on the crack! I'm on the pot!" -Shrimplofter

"BANANA!" -Shrimplofter

"[Jim-Beth] has a window for a head!" -Meche

"The carmel rolls are gonna be like steak?" -Shrimplofter

"Ow, my bladder!" -Shrimplofter

"My pelvis! My pelvis!" -Magdalena

So, that was my birthday party! Word of the day: UND... because if everything works out as planned, I'm going there for pre-med stuff tomorrow!

¡Feliz Cumpleaños a mi!

Okay, so as Judit said, my birthday was about a week ago. And I had a lot of fun! My mom asked me to come home so I could kid-sit Lunchbox which at first, I will admit I wasn't to keen on. See, I was just home the weekend before. But, as Friday neared, I found myself excited to be going back to good ol' South Dakota. So I packed up my stuff and spent the weekend with my sister. My parents were on retreat all weekend, so I only saw them for a grand total of about 20 mins. That wasn't too cool. But, I got to hang out with my friends on Saturday! Shrimplofter, Jim-Beth, Maurice, Lunckbox another friend whom I will call Oregano (tee hee!) and I all went to one of the local Mexican restaraunts. Here's the result:

Then, we ditched Oregano and Maurice, added Magdalena and went to the Haunted Forest, where I didn't get any pictures because artificial smoke has the ability to ruin anything electronic, or so I've been told! But, we had fun there before going back to mi casa and just chillaxin' for a while. I did get some funny pictures from the next morning!

Aw, the birthday cake! This was actually from my Fall Break which was the weekend before. We couldn't find enough candles, so...

Is that Magdalena? I think it is!

Somebody was having too much fun on the hide-a-bed!

And again...

And again...

Aha! It's all the culprits: Magdalena, Shrimplofter, Jim-Beth and Lunchbox.

So, that was my birthday party. We had a blast! Oh, and the word of the day is chillaxin'. Cuz it's a combination of chillin' and relaxin'. Isn't that fun? I thought so!

Happy Birthday to the Meche!

Today (well, not today) is Meche's 19th birthday! She is almost old!!! Enjoy being young while you can, der, Meche. Bob says the years go so quickly. She also says Happoy Birthday to you, too. So yea, feliz cumplinos. She also wants to know if you can fold your ears in. *shakes head* Whatever, Bob. :)
Happy Birthday!
Happy Happy Birthday!

Everyone should pray for Judit because today she was in the Mayo Clinic. They are still trying to figure out what is wrong with her and I think that the doctors also need prayers so that they can do that.
So the word of the day is Love because I was just at a Bible study where Fr. Richter said that "We are made by Love and Love begets Love." So let's all find someone that we can love as God taught us to because in loving someone else, we are really loving the Creator of all things (including Love).

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima cupla

Well, for all my high ideals of posting multiple times a week or at least every time something interesting happened, here I am, begging for your forgiveness because I have kept you out of the loop of craziness that is my life. Dear reader, I am sorry and it is with a heavy heart that I plead with you to forgive me this great offence. I am not making excuses, but I feel that I have reason for not posting. You see, these last few weeks have been filled with dizzy spells, neurologist appointments, hospital stays, days in bed, collapsing, and just general unwellbeing. So far it's Judit's messed up brain 25, doctors 0. They have no idea what's going on. This isn't particularly comforting, but there's really not much I can do about it. *shrug* Although ya'll would probably be happy to know that I'm coming home for fall break. Bob is actually out here right now & we're coming back on the 15th. I have an appointment at the Mayo, so that should be loads of fun. But hopefully they'll figure something out.
In other news, it's midterms week. Fun, fun, fun, for everyone! There are papers and test galore. People are freaking out like nobody's bussiness. Also, there are now black bears on campus. I haven't seen one personally, but I guess they live between the library and my dorm. What did the school do? Put a memo in our mailboxes about not petting them. Thank you Ranger Rick! Oh well. Also, the guy who was going to by the Delorian ended up getting a different car. Silly boy.

Too long!

Okay, well sorry about the lack of posts! I've been busy; but not with anything interesting enough to post about... until now!!!
Ladies and gentlemen: today it snowed in Bismarck! That's right! It started at 4 in the morning and went until about 9 tonight. But for all that snow, there really wasn't much accumulation. There's probably about 4 inches on the grass, but everything on the sidewalks melted right away. What was really funny is that my friend from Peru has never seen snow before and she was up watching it come down at 4! She's so cute. :D Anyway, she was really excited so I told her that this winter we're going to have to have a snowball fight and make snowangels and snowmen and all that other fun snow-stuff. Unfortunately, not too many people were prepared for the snow, so a lot of people were really cold. I was lucky enough to grab my winter coat the last time I went home *thanks Mom*. But, I don't have boots yet... although I think I have a hat and gloves in Scott... hm, methinks it would be a good idea to go check!
Oh, and my choir director/theory teacher is from Washington state, so he was amazed at the snow as well. I guess over there, it doesn't routinely snow in October. Silly Washington-ites! So he came into out theory class at 8 this morning, gestured toward the window and almost yelled, "What the heck is that?!" So we explained that around here, it was normal for it to snow before Halloween and he sort of grumbled and complained for a bit. Then we got to actually learning things. What's really cool is that he's funny and random, which keeps the class interesting. He frequently says things that make the whole class die laughing (literally... I'm serious! I am a sort of super-concentrated ghost right now) Like, today, he said "Sweet murdering Buddah!" And he quoted the Scottish guy from So I Married an Axe Murderer: "It's like an orange on a toothpick!" (refering to the size of his own head). Plus that, the other day he played a song by Wierd Al about horoscopes that was pretty funny. Yeah, he's a great guy! Hillarious, I tell ya, simply side-splitting!
Anyway, I think I've bored you long enough. So, today's word of the day: antidisestablishmentarianism. Which is not cool to try and explain to someone when they aren't listening!
