Hair gel and Plug Ins

Wow, bad Judit! Bad! *irons hands* Here I am yelling at ya'll to post and I don't even post!! Tisk, tisk. Although, save dear Meche I have noticed that none of yoooouuu are blogging. Hmmm. Anyway, the last three weeks in the life of Judit, go!

I'm a dork who can't read plane tickets correctly, so I told my ride to pick me up @ Dulles 40 mins after my schedueled landing. Then the pilot got us in 30 min early and my ride was an hour late. Yay! I bonded with random travelers and really cute kids from some other country. He he. But all was well and I got into my dorm at 2 am. My room is great. Meg and I are getting along splendidly. I sleep on a trundel bed which slides under Megan's which is kinda cool. I like it. Laura stayed on my floor until it was time for her and half of my class to go to Rome. The other half goes in the spring. Seriously, every year a majority of the junior class goes to Rome. This year, it's everyone but 5 or 6. And I am one of those 5 or 6. Sad for me. Oh well, I will hold down the fort like it's never been held down before.

Classes have been going well. I've got 2 sophomore classes and 3 junior classes so I get confused some times. Especially since there are transfers in both sets of classes. So confused I tell you. But good. I really like most of them. I even like Medieval philosophy despite the uber boring prof. And I dropped Latin, so it's all good! he he

My crazy movie making friends have released a feature length film at the local movie theatre. There was a big premire and everything. I was the official photographer, so I got to pester people and make them pose. I think Mike was ready to take my head off, but he was too happy with the success of the movie. See my facebook for the pictures.

It seems as thought the freshman are settling in well. Silly freshman. Some of them live on my wing. I like them lots.

Um, I'm chewing some gum. And talking to Smitha on Google Talk. And I'm supposed to be reading Beowulf.

Oh! Oh! I found the coolest shirt at K-Mart! It's lime green and says I (lips) Midwestern Boys! Granted if I'd gotten it at home it would've been a little weird, but on the East Coast, it's totally wicked cool!

Apple Robber

Judit, are you at the CC?! When do classes start? I have checked the blog and realized that my new and improved pic is not up yet. I (im)patiently wait it's arrival. Oh, and it's too bad that we didn't get that pic of Lorena or Magdelena in Geisha garb! That would have been uber-cool!
Don't really have a lot to do right now... waiting for towels to wash and/or dry. Tomorrow, I will be taking my math placement exam and having an audition for my voice lesson. Fun stuff... not really, but oh well.
Word of the day: stealth. It takes plenty of that to steal apples from someone's front yard when they're practially staring at it through the livingroom window! Heh heh heh!

Prayer request

I would like for all of you who are reading this blog to keep me in your prayers until October. I have had an oportunity opened to me and I need your prayers to keep it open! Thank you so much!

Word of the day: softball, because I will be going to a church league game tonight and I'm excited!

New Look

Well, as Meche said, and you've probably noticed, ¿Qué? is a little. . . deadish. But we're working on that. After we hog-tie Lorena and make her blog, things should be okay. But for now, I am planning on giving the sidebar a little spiff up. Oka-a-ay, that sounded really. . . brokeback. There probably won't be much going on over the summer, but yea. Keep your little blogging eyes peeled on the sidebar. :P

Contrary to Popular Belief...

No, Que has not died! It is merely taking a very long siesta. The Hobbit and I are attempting to wake it... and if that fails, then yes, sadly... it will die. But fret not, for we will whisper in its ear, shout in its face, jump on top of it and throw water at it in valient effort!
However, I think that for the summer, we still won't be posting as much as we usually would... cuz we're all in the same town now and can keep up with each other quite nicely.
So, you may ask: how have the chicas been doing since last you heard from us? Well, Judit is living with Bob, seems to be doing quite well. She still has better days than others, but for the most part, has enjoyed hanging out with friends and being her goofy self. She has been showing us videos/movies filmed at CC and has been telling us some quite interesting stories about her acquaintances and friends... I think I am beginning to understand certain people... or at least remember who they are!
Constancia is also living with her parents... she is working at 3M for the summer. She was on the midnight-8am shift making masks, but she switched to a split shift in the cafeteria from 9-1 and 5-9. She still likes to hang out at the Coffee Smith a lot and has been enjoying her sleep.
Lorena has gradu-ma-tated high school and will be going to the School of Mines next year. She's looking forward to things like making robots and hearing a lot of techno. She enjoys going to shows very much and will be going to the Warped Festival in Colorado next month.
Magdelena is also living with her parents but is currently apartment-hunting. She is also out to get a new job. She has also applied at 3M and Wells Fargo... we'll see if she joins the ranks of 3Mers. She has been hanging out a lot with us but she has also been hanging out with friends from school/work so we don't see her quite as often. However, she seems to be doing well.
I am also taking up residents with the parental units for the time being. However, I am also paying for an apartment in Grand Forks, where I will be going to school next year. I work at 3M on the midnight-8am shift making masks, so what with sleeping during the day, I have little time to do much of anything. All things considered, I'm still relatively happy. I enjoy going to shows with Lorena and/or JimBeth when I can and will be leaving for a 3 week "vacation" to Edmundton, Alberta, Canada and then to Vancouver, WA. I'm going with my family and we will be driving the whole way... should be intersting.
So that's what's up! Oh, I also have another blog here and a MySpace here. Visit if you wish.
Word of the day: eternity... because that's about how long it's been since anyone last posted!!!

God loves me so much

Last night I decided to go to morning prayer this morning. So my alarm went off at 7:15 in the am. Uuuhhh. I got up at 7:20, threw on jeans and a sweatshirt, grabbed my chapel veil and morning prayer book and ran. I made it there right as they started. Unfortuantely it's Easter so I was confused beyond all get out. Sunday of week I my elbow. After that I went to breakfast, and instead of getting an unhealthy waffle with unhealthy toppings, I got two boiled eggs, steamed apples, and bacon. (Okay, cut me so slack, I did well on the first two!) I then went back to my room and studied Latin. (Where does the virtue end? :P) At 9, I got ready leisurely for class. At about 9:30 I popped my head into Claire's room and announced that she needed to be awake. Granted she already was, but I wanted to make it known that she didn't have to wake me up. Unsually I am sat upon by her or Liz at about 9:45. I announced that I'd been up since 7:20 and went to morning prayer and breakfast and studied. She stared blankly at me. I'm not sure if that's because my behavior was so shocking or that I was monologuing to her while she was in a towel. (That, by the way, is not shocking. I do that more than a person would think.) At about 9:45 Liz walked into my room, expecting to do the customary wake-me-up routine. (Usually involving shouting and shaking.) She was suprised when I opened the door for her and even more so that I was applying mascara and not sleeping. He he he. She then went to shower. Claire, Liz (other Liz), and I left for the Commons at 9:55 knowing that Liz (in the shower Liz) was going to be very, vey late for class and kind of sad for her, but hey, if she wants to be clean, that's her deal. Once we got there, we found out that poli sci was canceled. There was much rejoicing. We all decided to go to theology instead, so we wouldn't have to do it later. That's when we found out theology was also cancled. And there was much, much rejoicing. I stood in the hallway and watched the faces of exhuberant sophomores as they found out the good news. (Really, it was great.) All the sophomores have the same theology teacher and many have the same poli sci, so it really was a good day. As I was walking back to the dorm with Claire, I said, "You know. I got up for morning prayer and such and started out my day ordered. I feel like God just said, 'Good job WP, have a treat. Here, I'll cancel two of your classes.' And I'm like, thanks God, I like that treat. That's a great treat." Claire laughed and told me I should wake up early more often, because it works out well for all of us.As we got to the dorm, Liz finally came out. She looked at us strange and asked what we were doing. Claire promptly told her that it was Wednesday and that she didn't have a class until 1. They did the 'no it's not' 'yes it is' thing for awhile. Finally I said that if it wasn't Wednesday, then no one told J-ski or Bersnak that, because we didn't have class. I love making the Duck happy. Anyway, because of my class load being cut in half today, I was able to study Latin, go to Mass, got to lunch, read some Dante, do my metaphysics homework, watch as episode of 24, and take a nap. I love God!

New Blog

Okay, since no one has been posting at all lately and because the Hobbit has a new blog, I have decided to get one as well! It is a Xanga, which unfortunately means that if you don't have a Xanga, you can't post comments. Sad, I know :( But, if you want, You can post them here because I will still be checking up on Que every so often. my new site is here. Please check it out!
Word of the Day: Coheed and Cambria, because they are an awesome band!
